Of course you can make most any meal with a simple pan, a spoon, a dull knife, and a few ingredients at hand. All recipes start with a cook standing in front of their pantry/fridge/garden, hand to chin, wondering what they will prepare for the next meal. What transforms the work of cooking into enjoyment (for me) are bright ideas (often from other cooks) and good tools.
I’ve compiled lists of some of the things that have helped me immensely in making good food:
HI MARCUS, GOT E-MAIL FROM FRED LANCIA ABOUT WEST HIGH REUNION, AND HE SENT ME YOUR WEBSITE INFO…IT WAS REALLY INTERESTING…I AM NOW RETIRED AND LIVE IN LAS VEGAS, AND WAS THINKING THAT YOU MIGHT GET DOWN THIS WAY SEEING YOU ARE FAIRLY CLOSE. IF SO SEND ME AN E-MAIL, OR CALL ME…THAT IS IF YOU CAN REMEMBER WHO I AM…ANY WAY SOUNDS AS IF YOU HAVE HAD A GOOD AND INTERESTING LIFE. TED
